Jacksonville International Airport was originally conceived primarily as a military airport to serve the sizable naval bases in the region. As Jacksonville’s commercial sector grew, the need for a larger airport became evident and expansion was necessary as more traffic increased in the region. Acousti was the ceiling systems and flooring contractor responsible for the coordination and installation of high-end acoustical ceilings, custom ceilings, porcelain floor, wall tile, and glass tile in Terminals A and B.
