Acousti was selected as the Ceiling Systems Contractor for this office and meeting center designed to connect leading-edge technology with an eco-friendly environment. The workspace received the USG Logix Integrated Ceiling System with custom grid modules which accommodated the owner’s state of the art ceiling mounted fixtures and equipment. The complex grid layout, along with extensive category 'D' seismic bracing in the plenum, required close coordination with MEP trades throughout the installation process. The unique Topakustik wood wall and ceiling system located in the common areas was imported from Europe. The long lead time on materials left no room for error. Acousti worked closely with the ceiling manufacturer and plenum trades to provide the field engineering and modifications necessary for fixture and device compatibility. The progressive nature of this system often required ceiling-mounted fixtures and wood panels to be installed simultaneously.
