Fort Lauderdale’s Promenade at Coconut Creek is an upscale shopping mall that is now complete with the opening of a beautiful Cooper’s Hawk Winery on its second floor. Both a shop offering an extensive wine collection, and full restaurant, this location is sure to offer guests a sumptuous experience from ceiling to table with 6,700 sf of rustic white oak linear wood paneling above and flowing vino at arm’s reach.
In this Cooper’s Hawk private dining room, we added 450 sf of acoustical insulation via Black Conwed Select Sound 1” tiles. We also provided ceiling installation in the kitchen spaces.
Now, the main feature is by far white oak linear planks overhead that continue throughout the shop and open dining areas. Installation was smooth sailing thanks to our installers who effortlessly executed Aria Group Architect’s vision: cutting the fragile oak boards with a suave curve around accented features. These wood panels, provided by Navy Island, are also audio-insulating: utilizing micro-perforation to capture resonances with an NRC rating of 0.9. The crew made sure to map out all integrated lighting and mechanical plans when considering placement, assuring secure and centered positioning of drop fixtures: certain to last the decades of success guaranteed in this fine establishment.
The 14,330 sf that is now Cooper’s Hawk Winery is the perfect place to stop in to speak with knowledgeable sommeliers, or for a tasteful night out. Acousti is happy to have been part of the construction of this location as finishing this time-sensitive project was made easy with our communicative, flexible, and dedicated team.
