UF Reitz Union

The University of Florida Reitz Student Union Expansion opened in 2016 and added 50,000 SF of space to the existing Student Union which is exclusively for students and faculty use on the UF Campus in Gainesville, FL. This project featured an expansive wood ceiling scope for Acousti which was manufactured by Norton Industries as well as Hunter Douglas metal ceilings and Armstrong acoustical ceiling products. The high wood ceiling was inspired by and designed to resemble the silhouette of an alligator swimming through the swamp.
